Homemade Hemp Milk
Ingredients
1/2 cup shelled hemp seeds
3 cups filtered water
a pinch of sea salt
1/2 tsp agave
1/4 tsp vanilla
Directions
Place all ingredients in a high-speed blender and blend for one to two minutes.
Using a nut milk bag or sheet of cheese cloth, strain the milk into a wide mouth jar or large bowl.
Compost the leftover pulp or use it to make some hummus or burgers.
Store your hemp milk in an air-tight container or jar for up to four days. Use it in cereal, smoothies, or any recipes that call for milk.
